THE POWER OF GOD 
"God has given us power. He said, 'You shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you.' The Bible says in Acts 1:8 that God has given us power. Power is the ability to do work. God has given us power to do work, to perform miracles, and to accomplish tasks. When the Lord gave Moses power to set the children of Israel free from Egypt, the Lord gave Moses authority. And when Moses stood before the Red Sea and cried out to God, God said, 'Why are you crying out to me? I've given you the ability. Tell the children of Israel to move forward. Stretch forth your hand and divide the sea.' We all know that it was God who divided the Red Sea, but it was through a man, Moses. So, Moses was using the power of God to divide the Red Sea.

"There are situations in our lives where God is counting on us to use His power to defeat that situation. Just like Moses was confronted with the Red Sea, God is counting on us to use the power of the Holy Ghost within us to defeat that situation, to overcome every Red Sea situation in our lives. I want us to be confident and bold about the gift of God within us, the gift of the Holy Ghost, and the gift of His power within us. And when we are bold and confident about that, we can release it to confront life's situations.

"When the power of God collides with our problems, our problems will fall down, and it cannot be otherwise. When the power of God collided with the Red Sea, the Red Sea gave way. Once you release the power within you to confront stagnation, marital delay, spiritual attacks, cancer, sicknesses, and stay on it, stay believing, and stay in faith, you will see that mountain move. The problem is that most of us give up too soon. When we confront a particular problem and don't see immediate results, we give up too soon.

"He told them to go around Jericho seven times. They went there the first time, the second time, nothing happened. The third time, the fourth time, nothing happened, until the seventh time. Most of us have prayed once for a particular issue, and when we don't see results, we give up. Stay on it. God cannot lie. He has given you power. Release the power to confront your problems, and you will see that problem bow, bend, and be destroyed in Jesus' name."
