Shield of Faith

Hello people of God.
How's your day going.
So today I have something profoundly intriguing to apportion with you.
So patiently and meditatively read this.

What am gonna talk about is the Shield of Faith.

When you look at the Word Shield, what come to mind is DEFENSE, and you know that Defense is a military term forfend ones' self from an 
attack.

You don't build your defense on the day of battle, you build your defense before the day of battle.  Any soldier building capacity on the day of battle is a weak soldier.

Scriptures attach faith to warfare, look at the following scriptures

1 Timothy 6:12 KJV
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

2 Timothy 4:7 KJV
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

So what is FAITH.

Ephesians 6:16 KJV
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

1john 5:4 isv
because everyone who is born from God has overcome the world. Our faith is the victory that overcomes the world.

Faith is conviction based on a revelation. I hear people say just believe God, nooo
We don't believe blindly, we  really believe God based on the revelation we have about him.

But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.*

So the fight of Faith is the fight of beliefs, convictions and light. That's why the devil seeks to enforce veils and blindness of the heart. What you believe about God is your shield of Faith.

Proverbs 23:7 KJV
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

One reason why many fail in the day of battle is because of their mindset about God. Your mindsets can be your shield and it can additionally be your impotent point.

Your shield are your convictions and beliefs about God. What will make you stand the test of time is where you have built your confidence and convictions.

Life will test your credence system, that's why it is a fight of Faith.

So how can we build the shield of Faith , because we don't build our defense on the day of battle but afore battle

1. The Word.
Romans 12:1-2 KJV
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The instauration of the mind is not your ability to quote scriptures off heart which is good but it's in getting lights and insights from scriptures. Build your mindsets on the rock(the word) so that it can stand the inclemencies. Insights can come through encounters.
2. Prayer and fasting

Jude 1:20 KJV
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

Praying in tongues avails to Sharpen your faith.

Matthew 17:21 KJV
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Prayer and fasting helps in pulling down unbelief

3. The congregation of the saints helps in building Faith.
