Unshakable Faith – A Raw & Powerful word to stand strong in the Storm

Image
Let your faith be STRONG—so strong that life's storms CAN'T choke it. So solid that troubles CAN'T overwhelm it. The Bible says plainly: _"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God"_ (Romans 10:17). Let that Word sink DEEP into you—down into your bones—until NOTHING can shake it! Listen: troubles WILL come. Problems WILL rise. Storms WILL hit. But FAITH? Faith is your ANCHOR. Remember Jesus' story about the sower? Some seed: - Fell on rock—sprang up quickly but DIED just as fast. - Fell among thorns—got CHOKED out by life's worries. - Fell on good ground—ROOTS went DEEP and WITHSTOOD everything. That's the key—DEEP ROOTS in God's Word! When the Word gets INSIDE you—REALLY inside you: - The devil can SCREAM all he wants—your faith WON'T budge. - Storms can RAGE—your foundation WON'T crack. - Waves can CRASH—you'll STILL be standing. Think about Jesus in that boat! The disciples were HOLLERING—"Master, we...

THE POWER OF GOD

Image
THE POWER OF GOD  "God has given us power. He said, 'You shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you.' The Bible says in Acts 1:8 that God has given us power. Power is the ability to do work. God has given us power to do work, to perform miracles, and to accomplish tasks. When the Lord gave Moses power to set the children of Israel free from Egypt, the Lord gave Moses authority. And when Moses stood before the Red Sea and cried out to God, God said, 'Why are you crying out to me? I've given you the ability. Tell the children of Israel to move forward. Stretch forth your hand and divide the sea.' We all know that it was God who divided the Red Sea, but it was through a man, Moses. So, Moses was using the power of God to divide the Red Sea. "There are situations in our lives where God is counting on us to use His power to defeat that situation. Just like Moses was confronted with the Red Sea, God is counting on us to use the power ...

The Power of Effectual Fervent Prayer: Lessons from Elijah

The Power of Effectual Fervent Prayer: Lessons from Elijah In a world filled with challenges and uncertainties, prayer remains one of the most powerful tools available to believers. The story of Elijah, a man who accomplished extraordinary feats through prayer, offers profound insights into the nature of effective prayer. This article explores the principles of effectual fervent prayer as demonstrated by Elijah and how we can apply these lessons to our own lives.  Elijah: A Man Like Us The Bible introduces Elijah as a man who performed great and mighty deeds, yet he was no different from you and me. In James 5:16-17, the apostle James reminds us that Elijah was a man "subject to like passions as we are." This means he was human—he ate, slept, and faced the same struggles we do. Yet, through prayer, he achieved supernatural results.  Elijah’s most notable act was declaring a drought over the land, saying, "There will be no rain until I say so." This bold declaration ...

Be Bold: Unleashing the Power of Faith

Image
Faith isn't passive; it's a force that demands action. It's about more than just believing; it's about being bold in your belief. This isn't about blind arrogance, but a confident reliance on the power of God, especially in the face of challenges. As Hebrews 11:1 states, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." This assurance empowers us to be bold. The scriptures are filled with examples of bold faith. Elisha, empowered by a double portion of Elijah's mantle, didn't shrink back when mocked. He boldly called upon the Lord, and those who scorned him faced the consequences (2 Kings 2:23-24). Jesus, confronted with a barren fig tree, didn't just wish for fruit; he spoke to it, and it withered (Mark 11:20-24). This demonstrates the power of speaking to our mountains, those seemingly insurmountable obstacles in our lives. As Mark 11:23 says, "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mount...

Insist on Prayer

Image
Prayer is a weapon of immeasurable strength, connecting us to the omnipotence of God and unleashing His power. It was through prayer that Elijah controlled the time and seasons of the earth. As the Bible says in James 5:16-17 (KJV): "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. [17] Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months." Through effectual, fervent prayer, Elijah controlled the climate for three years and six months. If we, as believers, fully grasped the lessons from our spiritual ancestors, many of the world's problems could have been eradicated. One issue I've noticed among believers today is that we often give up too soon in prayer. Elijah persisted in praying for rain seven times before seeing results. This kind of p...

Truth is a weapon

Scripture Reading: 1 John 4:1–3 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. The believer will encounter many spiritual experiences. As believers, we are open to the realms of the spirit. The Bible says, "He that is born of the flesh is flesh, and he that is born of the Spirit is spirit." Since we are born of the Holy Spirit, we are spiritual beings, and our Father is a Spirit. The Bible also declares that God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him must do so in spirit and in truth. Therefore, we should not accept everything that is presented to us, as ma...
